The ability to perceive or think differently is more important than the knowledge gained. David Bohm.

I have a passion for the ocean and its inhabitants, particularly whales and dolphins. Current science shows that these marine mammals do not fare well in captivity. This blog will touch upon the various aspects of marine mammal captivity and examine both the science and evolution of public thinking. It will do so using facts, data, and opinion.

Animal species are under constant threat. Our oceans are unhealthy. Environmental issues and competition for food and space all present multiple threats -- the majority of which, are human-caused. Knowledge of these issues is important but so is acting upon what you've learned.

Such is the purpose of this blog. To inspire and hopefully ignite you to further action.

Thanks for stopping by.
